Finally.

Who knew there were so many fans of my blog that I'd be harassed to update it?? Okay, okay...really it's only Lesley that has asked me to add some pictures and rightfully so. I haven't updated this thing in FOREVER! I've been so busy between CJ and Kim's wedding and the holidays. It seems that December just flew by and here we are in 2009! A little recap of our December:

Many of Brad's family flew in to celebrate Christmas at his Uncle Tom's house. We had such a good time. They are always so fabulous hosts!


And now we come to Christmas. I cringe as I type this, but my camera died and I have NO pictures of Ben's first Christmas. I know that my mother-in-law took some, as well as my parents, so I'm hoping they will pass them along to me soon!

However, I DO have some new stuff that I just uploaded from the video camera Jim, Charlotte, and Carol got Brad and I for Christmas. I love it. It takes pictures as well as videos. I'm still learning how to edit the videos(and how to film without making everyone ill from motion sickness). I tried to upload the video but it failed for some unknown reason.

Ben is just about 8 months old and is a HANDFUL! He's into everything now. He gets around by mixing crawling traditional style with "walking" on his hands and feet to get places. I swear, there could be a thousand toys spread around the room, and he still will crawl over to chew on the lamp cord! It's no wonder Brad has a scar on his head from a lamp falling on it when he was a baby! Looks like Ben has inherited the same mischievous gene.




Aunt Margaret, from San Antonio, got Ben the cutest little cowboy outfit! Thanks, Aunt Margaret!!

Ben started eating finger foods and the sippy cup. He's not too sure about them yet, but I have still been offering them throughout the day. He sure does love his "lil crunchies," though!




Ben is such a sweet, content baby. (Don't mind his sweet potato stained face. Our boy LOVES to eat!)
