UGH!!

Anyone out there good with formatting these blogs??? As you can see, I am ALL OVER THE PLACE with the words and pictures. I can't keep any consistency and what would take me 15 minutes to post ends up taking me an hour because I can't seem to get the format right!!

Slacker.

Sooo, I've been a bit of a slacker with my blogging. Who could have guessed that would happen?? :-) Anyway, the good news is that I have a ton of cute pictures to add.

On Friday, June 27, Brad and I spent our first night away from Benjamin. We went to see Brad's beloved Dave Matthews Band while my mom (Nana) watched Ben. It was such a great time despite a crazy rain storm. As you can see, we had a HUGE group of friends. It really was a nice break from the nighttime feedings and diaper changes, but I was really excited to pick up my baby the next day!

Also, our good friend Jon was visiting from California. We hadn't seen him in a year, so it was definitely time to catch up! He is a natural with Ben...maybe it's time for his own. I won't hold my breath, though. ;-)

At the end of June, my Godson, Rocco John, was baptised. It was an amazing event held by our close friends Giovanna and John. It is such an honor to be little Rocco's Godmother.

For the Fourth of July, we went over to Carol's condo. It was such a nice time. Brad's dad, Jim, was there, as well as Jim and Charlotte, and my sister, Sarah, her fiance, Brian, and my nephew, Dustin. As usual Carol and I had a bit too much fun and stayed up until 5am. Brad said he woke up at 1am and 4am and heard us having the exact same conversation. He is still unsure whether we were talking about the same thing for 3 hours straight OR we just happened to begin talking about it again!

On Saturday, our friend, Mike, had his annual pig roast. It was a blast, as usual. He had a band, a delicious, slow cooked pig, and an ice block! (We never REALLY grow up.)

For you non-baby people, it's a little pillow that you can place the baby on to feed, hang out, etc.

Coming up...look for our pictures from our trip to CHICAGO!!! Brad, Ben, and I will be heading out to the Windy City from July 22-26. We can't wait to see Uncle Tony, Chris, Tim, and Nicole! AND, Aunt Margaret will be visiting us on July 27! Wish me luck flying with an infant ALONE! (Brad will be flying out a day early for business.)
