Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day, we went to the Bronx Zoo with Grammy Carol and Uncle Jim. While we were there, we got to see Grandpa Jim, too, which was a nice treat. It was a great time, despite a few tantrums by our two year old. And Brad only had to change one diaper all day! HAHA

So, Happy Father's Day to you, Brad. You are doing an amazing job and we love you!
"Remember You're His Daddy"
Remember you're his daddy
when he's crying late at night,
when he needs a little loving
to know that it's alright.
Remember you're his daddy
when you're playing with his toys,
when you take the time to teach him
how you both can be good boys.
Remember you're his daddy
when he's had a real rough day,
when school's been very tough on him
and nothing's gone his way.
Remember you're his daddy
when he goes on his first date,
when you tell him to be in by ten
and he's not home 'till late.
Remember you're his daddy
when he makes you very proud,
when in a very awkward way
he stands out in a crowd.
Remember you're his daddy
as he grows before your eyes,
stop to talk and listen
before it's time for your goodbyes.
Remember you're his daddy
remember I'm your wife,
we know that you'll love us
for the rest of your life.

Two!

We had Ben's birthday party on May 30th at our house. The theme was "Yo Gabba Gabba," one of Ben's favorite shows on Nick Jr. Here's a little glimpse of the decorations:

Tons of presents! Everyone was incredibly generous. Ben is one very lucky boy!

Easter.

Ben had a great time at Easter. He dashed around picking up the eggs and screeching, "Yaaaaaay!" It was really cute. He also got to see some chickens at my Gran's house, which he just loved!

He was not scared of the Easter Bunny at all--not even this really creepy one!

We headed to the playground after seeing the bunny.
